Go under Rt.-15 and take your first LEFTon Main St. Pass McGuire’s Ford and cross Shermans Creek bridge (road name changes to Inn Rd.). SUMMARY:She-Devils Camping Weekend - Piney Mountain Parking Area - Women Only
DESCRIPTION:Boondocking weekend\, Friday evening starting at 3:00 pm and ending at 3:00 pm Sunday.  Come join us whether you would like to camp in your trailer\, your tent\, or even do some car camping\, pets are allowed.  If you plan on joining us you will need to setup a site reservation on the DCNR Website.  Cost to boondock in a PA State Forest is $10.00 per night/per site\, plus tax\, etc.  Look for Michaux State Forest\, State Forest Rustic\, Piney Mountain Parking Lot – Michaux Campsites.  DCNR allows 1 wheeled camping vehicle or 2 tents per site\, no more than 10 people.  Currently\, there are 9 available pull-thru sites.  Be aware you may need to level your trailer/vehicle.  There are non-flush toilets and a pavilion available for use. \nWe will be camping whether it rains or shines\, hoping it only shines!  Friday evening is for arriving\, setting  up\, greet and meet\, and hopefully to set around campfires.  Saturday we would like to schedule a morning hike (time to be determined)\, a potluck dinner Saturday evening (all other  meals are on your own)\, sit around a campfire\, and end with a moonlight hike.  Sunday\, possibly a morning hike\, hang out\,  pack up and leave by 3:00 pm.\nPlease log in to RSVP.  \nTo reserve a camp site go to pennsylvaniastateparks.reserveamerica.com choose Michaux State Forest\, Piney Mountain Parking Area.  Choose  the date 9/25/26 for 2 nights.  Don’t forget to take your senior discount if you are eligible!  Dawn and Brigitte already reserved 2A and 2B. \nAddress of parking for hike and camping area is:\n1721 Bendersville Road\nGardners\, PA. 17324
